Argghh.. look at this email that I've just received:

March 14 ( Mon 9.30am-12.30pm &1.30pm-4.30pm) LT7

March 17 ( Thur 9.30am-12.30pm &1.30pm-4.30pm) LT7 ( LTs are fully booked on 16 Mar)

I want to cry.. it's atrocious, it's absurb!! Not only my hopes of having long weekends (initially we negotiated to have this particular module during our practicum) are dashed, my March hols (14th-18th) had just went down the drain. Bad bad system.. =(

It's a really bad start for the term, I felt like I've already sold my soul away to MOE and people do not consider us as human anymore. I was hoping to get my hols even though it is just going to be a mere one week. Last Sept we actually had our hols taken away from us, and it resulted into a nightmarish semester (it was THAT bad), but apparantly NIE still decided that we don't deserve a break afterall. Sigh.. the sea have to wait again. I'm quite sure taking this extra module won't turn me into a wonderful Chinese teacher overnight, and not taking this module doesn't make me any less capable either. So, I don't need top-up modules!!

Is taking hols away from people against human rights? I bet it is.. then we'll have a case to sue.
