Happy Birthday.. Posted by Hello

Happy birthday to my blog, it's already two years old!!

There's already 658 visitors to my blog in this one mth.. haha.. is this good or bad? No matter what, I just take it as good viewership, considering the fact that I didn't blog much this mth.(think positive!) Anyway, didn't expect that there's so much traffic going through my blog at all. Heehee..

Happy birthday to my classmate Huiyi too, her birthday is coming up... =)

So touched, all my avid fans are getting impatient waiting for my blogs. Heehee... can't resist for a little update tonight.

Ever since I've expanded out a "franchise" on my Chinese blog, had been trying hard to keep up with business. But admittedly, Yurong street is kind of quiet recently, due to terrorists bombing the place with reports and exams. =P However, blogging seems to be the 'in' thing among my friends lately, look at the number of links on my blog increasing! A sign of exam stress. Or maybe, it's only recently that my friends are starting to hear about my blog due to increased publicity, then requested to linked up to my page. =)

Anyway, saw the link on Xiaxue's page for making this avatar to put on MSN. And this is me!! Ta da! *proudly*

It's a matter of choice, my friends..=)

Every moment of every day, choose.
Choose to do the right thing, the tough thing, not the familiar easy thing.
Choose the way of the warriors or the way of the coward.
Make your choice out of love instead of fear.
Choose from the heart.
Choose to live fully, not to sleepwalk through your life.
Choose to respond with the way you really feel, not the way you’re supposed to feel.
Choose the mineral water over the soda; choose the lemon juice and olive oil over the blue cheese;
Choose the walk in the park over the ride to the mall.
Choose simplicity over extravagance.
Choose conversation over the television.
Choose to talk things out rather than stew in your anger overnight.
Choose compassion and generosity.
Choose to smile instead of frown.
Make your own choices in your own time and
and choose to stick with them. ? Rachel Snyder

I was at a flea market (clarke quay) last sunday. It ws my first time there, was so amazed to see all sorts of stuff there, it's really a good place for people to clear out their odds-and-ends at home. It's hard to believe, but even a 'hello kitty' that was once a rave in 2000 is still sellable, even though it's dirty and smelly.

Was thinking that I wouldn't be tempted by all these stuff till I came to the one with all the books! Yeah, I'm a nerd, my favourite past time is reading and collecting stamps. Muahahaha... Anyway, I got the above book for only $10, and it was brand new! They still have a lot of Dan Brown's books for very cheap rate (all brand new), but too bad I was too broke to stock up and too busy to read also. Mitch Albom was the same write for 'Tuesdays with Morrie', a book I would have truly enjoyed if I didn't have to write a report on it.. what a waste.. =P

Anyway, I feel that 'Five people you meet in Heaven" is even better; at least the guy is already dead and in heaven, so you do not have to keep worrying that he's dying like Morrie. And of course, it's philosophical as well. I finished it in just two days, as its really a good book for light reading. =) Posted by Hello

As it was children's day last Friday, I've prepared some presents for the kids when I went for work on Sat. Also brought my camera along, since I think this will probably be the last time I'm taking pre-schoolers.  Posted by Hello

All these are the 5 years old, in K1 this year.. they're always good and nice until they've grown up. =P Posted by Hello

Taking a photo with the kids.. so cute, yah??  Posted by Hello
Rushed down to SAFTI MI right after that to attend the commissioning parade of the boys.. Well, this is already my fifth parade in two years, and I can already memorise the procedures by heart. Hahaha, so didn't miss out much although I was late. Was in time for the photo-taking sessions though..

Two more newly-commissioned officers to add to the list. May I also add that both of them were my trainees oens ago...=P But, as a very humble person, I must say that their sucess today has absolutely nothing to do with me. Hahahaa.. It was a very fulfilling process seeing unpolished stones turning into gems. =) Posted by Hello

The 'older' ones.. Posted by Hello

The officers with all the pretty babes.. too bad in this picture they looked just like the backdrop. =P Posted by Hello

When I'm bored, I blog. Hey it rhymes!! Let's say it all over again.. When I'm bored, I blog.. When I'm bored, I blog.

Anyway, I had an interesting weekend and I brought my camera around. Wanted so much to post it into my lovely blog but I'm running out of time, just the few photos here and more later on, when I'm done with my work. =) Stay tune..

It was Friday night around 12am, we were waiting for Yingzhi to come pick us up for supper. Meanwhile, I was trying hard not to let Danping fall asleep, and so we picked up my camera to capture a few shots. I was concentrating on balancing the camera right, unaware that Danping was in her 'funny face' mode.. *roll eyes + disgusting look*

Okay, at least this is better...  Posted by Hello

Yingzhi posing in front of her mercs.. that was the only glam thing about the outing this month. Our destination of the supper was actually a kopitiam in Jurong West. That's really quite unglam for us, as we always used to meet in town for our monthly gathering. Hahaha, but 'boh bian' now that we're stucked in this ulu area...

Danping is holding on to her autograph book which YZ was supposed to write and return to her when she was in JC1!! That's like 6 years ago!! (Oops, revealed our age accidentally) All of us actually wrote lots of stuff in that book before, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw all the cheesy stuff that I had actually written for Danping when I was in Sec 4. Yucks!! It brought back many fond memories though, and we're all friends for 10 whole years already. Hahahaha..

Both of them were supposed to do their most 'san ba' pose, but my camera shuttle was too slow to capture it properly, thus the awkward looks. Posted by Hello

The four of us had 10 pieces of this BBQ honey-gazed chix wings among us.. it's dripping with oil. But forget about the fats, it was delicious! Posted by Hello

The 10 pieces of chicken wing weren't all we ate, there were also this fishball noodle soup (already finished by the famished Aileen), and a 'Murtabak' with mutton inside. Yummy.. Luckily 179 doesn't go past our hall, if not I'll be exploded by fats by now!! =P Posted by Hello

Hmm.. a bit don't understand why I'm sure a boring movie. It makes me sound like a saint, and a very boring one. But it's for sheer fun, anyway.

Got the above test from the blog of a JC teacher.. she writes quite well. Its quite interesting and I bet some of her students read her blog, I would love to see what my teachers say about me on their weblog. I've just linked up her page, and a couple of my friends' as well.. Didn't know so many of them blog! I'm having a problem logging up my blogs nowadays, it's getting difficult to keep republishing everything, maybe too many entries already. I must say that I hate those new features of blogspot sometimes, the post counter nver work properly, I'm perpetually stucked at 242 posts. Like, The Groundhog day? I must go and manually go and count my posts someday, when I'm really free..

For those who really can't stand me and my chinese text or poems, I have good news!!! I'm really going to spare u guys from now on, heeheee. =P Decided to open up my original blog again at the following. Just a warning, if you really cannot stand chinese words, or many many chinese words flashing in front of you, eh..you can just leave that alone and continue to enjoy my regular blog here instead. =) Seriously, I won't blame you and I also won't take any responsibility if you start puking Chinese words out of your mouth. Hmm, some people just have language allergic problem...

Main reason why I started another blog is mainly due to the following 5 reasons:

1. Due to consumer needs. =) Like what I had said, communication for the targeted audience, and I decided to do that separately.
2. The tone and the way you express yourself in different language is quite different, for me at least it's so. I do not want to change the overall 'feeling' of this blog when I switch language. That wouldn't sound like me yah? One day when I start my first Tamil or Malay blogs, its going to sound different too..hahahhaa
3. I'm just bored
4. I'm just very bored
5. Do you need to have so many reasons?

Don't worry, I'm not going to be converted and close down this blog totally. Neither do I have the intention of translating all my past blogs into Chinese words. Sometimes, there's things that I totally formulate my thoughts in English, and at other times I totally formulate my thoughts in Chinese. It all depends on my mood. Strange huh? But it works this way for me..

I have to go, target to finish at least a report this weekend. More blogging tomorrow, maybe. Hahahhaa...
Happy Children's Day!!

there is a child in everyone of us.. =)
