Hock Sui came to pick us up early to show us his training ground, and his home for the past months- the Jandakot Airport. Other than the Cessnas for the SIA trainees, there are rows and rows of small planes in the airfield for people taking their private flying license, the Australians can actually pick up flying as their hobby as young as 13 years old!
We went to the cafe which was just overlooking the runways to have our brunch, looking at the cute little airplanes taking off and making their landings. Got a lot more info about his job from this trip and finally able to visualise what he had been telling me all these months about his training.
