(This posted is written on 12th March 2023, I finally have time as the school term has ended and I really missed our Europe trip)
I cant exactly remember how it went then as I'm only updating my travel blog months later, but I think by Day 6 we have finally overcame the time difference and jet lag and woke up for breakfast much later than the previous days. We had really good breakfast and headed out again around 11am to collect our laundry.

The mystical creatures of Norway :P |

Loved these, reminded me of Japan

We collected our laundry and all the clothes were indeed all folded nicely, it was costly but we were glad to have fresh clothes for the next few days. We visited the souvenir shops near our hotel at Bryggen area as P wanted to get those mini wooden houses decor but the shops were closed the previous two nights when we walked past.

The funicular floibanen station to bring us to the top of Bergen |

Us on the funicular |

As like all kids all over the world, the devices is life |
We got back to the hotel room, kept our laundry and then headed out again after some rest. We wanted to get to the top of Mount Floyen in Bergen as it's one of the most recommended places to visit when in the city. We always see the mountain at the backdrop of Bryggen and it's really cool since people do live on the different parts of the mountain and the funicular is the usual transport for them.

We got there around 230pm and the sun was already setting |

Loved this shot of me |

Love this shot of us |

Fun fact: we were at viewing pt and there's a giant heart shape behind us |

Took many many shots |

Us making funny faces |
Anyway, I remember Mount Floyen as one of the most memorable part of our 3 days in Bergen. The sun was glaring hard at us when we were up there as it's sunset soon, but once the sun was not there, it was quite chilly. So its quite a dilemma. The view of the place is really nice but too hard to look at with the sun rays at some parts.

When we are traveling its always hot chocolate days |

Trolls and Norway always go together |

Finally a backview of me that I approved |

Kind of post-cardish except for the person in the background |

Shot of P at the peak |
There were many visitors and locals visiting the mountain, but we were glad that we got some good shots before the crowd arrived with the next funicular. We took our time to take photos and even helped an old couple from the UK with their photos, they were singing praises of P who were really helpful. Little did we know we would meet the couple again the next day as they were on the same cruise as us. Anyway we hung around for 30 minutes taking photos, got our hot chocolate and sat down for quite sometime waiting for the sun to set as we wanted to see the night view.

One of the fun part was going down on this slide |

The city view from the mountain while we were walking down |

Getting closer to the city |

The school right at the bottom of the mountain |
We decided not to wait for sunset as it was getting chilly and I was glad we started walking down the mountain as the sun was still up for another hour or so after that. There were a lot of locals or maybe foreigners who walk up or down the mountain on the well paved path, taking it as an exercise and we read that it should only take around 30 minute so we decided to walk down. It was like our previous tour to Fussen when we walked down the mountain after visiting the castle. The walk was actually a highlight of the trip as we encountered a slide to shorten the journey and we used it together with other teenagers. There was a part where the slope was really steep and I was so scared to venture down, it was embarrassing as a older couple caught up with us and walked down the slope with ease and normal gait.

Tooks us one hour to walk down |
|
It was dusk by the time we got down |

Nice shot of me and Norway flag by P |
We decided to head back to the christmas market as P was craving for the potato crisp thingy and the walk down the mountain got our adrenaline rushing although it took almost and hour for us to get to the bottom.
|
We went in to look for toilet to no avail |
|
We tried the mall and finally found the toilet |
|
Back at the christmas market |
On our way to the christmas market, we stopped by a mall to use the toilet and apparently we have to swipe the credit card to use the toilet but people are holding the doors for one another so that the next person do not have to pay. Hmm, interesting.

We sat around the fireplace enjoying this hotdog |
Other than getting the potato crisp, we also bought a hotdog bun to share. It was nice sitting next to the fireplace to enjoy the food in the winter. We got back to the hotel early again as we did not have any dinner after this. We are excited as the next morning we will be checking out from the hotel and spend the next four nights on board the hurtigruten heading to Tromso.
