It's term break!! It's term break!! And this week is pay week as well..so I'm going to be financially privileged again.. =) Just in time for the dive trip as well... Think my holidays going to get burned pretty fast, as the diving is going to take up 4 days already. Only told my mum that I'm going for a trip with my friends as it's holiday and my birthday is coming up.. shhhhhhhhh.... Been thinking that even when I'm back shouldn't tell her the truth, as diving is really one dangerous activity and she's going to give me a piece of her mind. Even having birthday after that is not going to help...
And I'm getting older again!!! Sigh..actually I'm getting older every minute and every second. Realised that each year really flew by after I hit 20 years old.. by the time I'm back from the dive trip, it'll be the end of the term break and only two more months for me to study and II'm going to work for the rest of my life.. How sad.. Everything seems so uncertain? Been to the career fair at MPSH the other day, and saw a lot of final year students there, practically signing up with every company they can find at the place and speaking to everyone representative they can see. I guess I was also doing the same, giving it a shot regardless it's banking, insurance, financial or public sector. The greatest irony was the big MOE booth and people flooding there was still as many as ever, and I just got rejected from them again..

Hie..it's one of the late night again, actually for the past few nights had been sleeping quite late as well, and my mum was commenting about my dark eye rings just now. Went to pay spotty Danping a visit just now, but the evening was better than what we had bargained for. Aichin was back from her sailing, and all of us sat around Danping's round dining table, drinking tea and updating each other about our lives. I guess that was really the highlight of the week, and almost feel quite unwilling to go home.=P It's always so nice to have a good long chat with the girls...

On the whole a very good paper. You describe a number of important aspects of placebos and discuss several key issues. It would have been good if you could have gone into more depth on some of the issues but on the whole a very credible job.
Grade: A-
Remember the term paper I was complaining a whole lot about? The lecturer had graded it and emailed back to me tonight, I was really proud of myself..heh heh.. and quite impressed with the lecturer too. I didn't realise that there's a function in MS Word to add comments and view comments in the document. My lecturer actually made use of that to grade and comment on my term paper which was submitted throught IVLE. He's a really clever guy, as everything about the module was actually done online except for the lecture, so that people will not find him too boring..

这是个古老的传说. 午夜12点时对着镜子削着苹果.记住皮不可以断.削完之后镜子就会出现...
没有皮的苹果..
Yah, corny right? Esp when it's sent in SMS and you're expecting this to be sometime romantic when it was sent to me the eve of Valentine's Day. I still remember that when I was younger, the series of 'True Singapore Ghost stories' was really popular, and in one of stories, it was said that your future husband will appear in the mirror if you peel the skin of an apple off with a knife at midnight. To add on to that, I think that a candle must be lit or something. And in the story, the girl was so scared when an image appeared in the mirror that she threw the knife she into the mirror, and years later she met a guy she fell in love with, but he had a scar on his face. And when asked why there's a scar on his face, he said that he was walking along the road one day at midnight, and something sharp flew out from nowhere and hit his face.
In a way, this year's Friendship Day was quite eventful for me. Well, most of the 'happening' events actually took place after the previous blog, which I sounded quite bored as I was really feeling really bored just before my tuition.
I think sometimes when you expect things to be really bad, it may never meet your expectations and you will actually end up very relieved and very happy with how it turned out. Yesterday I had my marathon tuition from 9am - 6pm, it was the first time I actually done it..incredible.. But I should say that the kids were actually behaving quite well, and even the most dreaded session passed relatively fast, I was really lucky. Came home feeling drained after the whole day of traveling around for my tuition, did not have any programme planned in the evening, it was really peaceful as only Dad and me was around for the whole night so I slept very early to prepare for the sailing course. And after one whole week of praying, today's wind condition turned out to be the extreme of what happened last week, there wasn't much wind at all. Although at times I was really feeling quite bored turning and turning around, but I was really thankful that the long and tiring day I had imagined turned out to be manageable beyond my imaginations. Well, maybe if there was more wind things could be more challenging.. at least it's the first time I've sailed without capsizing. Hope things will still be the same next week..=) Well, just a little more wind will be better, think I had over-prayed last week.

Hmm.. Today is quite a boring day, feeling quite sian. Even though it's Friday, I'm looking forward to a stressful weekend, one day full of tuition and another full of sailing out at sea. Hopefully I'll get more rest these few nights, but didn't get to exercise much due to the heavy workload these few days. Woke up at 6am this morning to study for my test, almost forgot about it after the Hari Raya holiday. =P But alas! I dozed off in the middle of the readings and was ten minutes late for the test.. @!$^* Sigh.. Feeling quite tired right now just after I've finished all my lessons for the week, not really in the mood to go anywhere later. Feel like going home for a good rest straightaway, but I'm waiting for time to pass now before my tuition.

Hey hey.. Didn't know I can be so productive today, as I had actually finished off my Lit assignment and also the research assignment all in one go. So for academic work this week, I've left the CA to study and also the forums, which I had already went to post one or two comments. Really happy now, can enjoy all the visiting tomorrow as I think I've cleared most of the work, provided they don't come piling up again. =) Well..better not be too yaya.. Did not go to school to attend lecture today so that I can work on the assignments, so still got to zap my HRM readings on Thurs for the test.. but luckily it's open book..

Although I didn't suffer from Monday blues.. felt a very intense need to start working real hard today, I think the virus that is spreading around is attacking me.. and that is STRESS!! So many deadlines to meet, I'm really looking forward to the term break coming up after next week..
The main stressors of my week will roughly goes like this:
Today: Went for project meeting for HRM, as we are going to have a presentation on Friday. Realised that I got a CA coming up this Friday for the same module too.. so have to sort out my notes and zap those missing ones.
Tuesday: Short day for me, but have to clear up my place for visiting on Wed, zap missing notes. Lots of miscellaneous things to do to clear up the week's work, e.g research for projects and assignments.
Wed: Friends coming for visiting and I'm going out for the whole day. Have to prepare for the project meeting on thurs, as our project is due next week. (this is for IF3202 module) Research and type out 4 page essays before the meeting.
Thursday: Project meeting; Another 4 page essay due on Friday for my Intro to Literature studies module. Already started on it last friday, hopefully can get a good grade. Busy busy busy day...
Friday: CA1 and presentation for HRM module. Assignment due for EN1101 module. And it's V-day.. should I go out??? sigh...
What a stressful week!! And in the midst of all these.. I need to check out the IVLE everyday as there's tutorials for two modules that's being held online and we need to post on the discussion forums. Basically I only need to attend one other tutorial this week only as Wed is a holiday, so tutorial on that day is canceled. To add to all these, I'm trying to dig out some time to go and exercise too, as Sunday I'll probably die in a horrible state.
